There are 8 parents of pupils between the ages of 10 and 16 reported by the local police of arzano for school dropout.
After the warning, the Mayor filed a complaint and the officers carried out investigations which revealed that the days of absence, approximately 100 in total, and the related warnings were not sufficient to convince the parents to take their children to school.
The men led by Commander Biagio Chiariello knocked on the doors of the homes asking for reasons regarding this failure to comply and at the end they could do nothing but contest the crime provided for by the so-called "Caivano decree" - Legislative Decree no. 123/2023 converted into Law 159/2023 - in violation of the "supervision of compliance with the obligation of education".
The agents' magnifying glass covered primary and secondary schools of the first and second grade with some students who in some cases never showed up to school while in others they attended only a few days.

For now, 8 parents have been reported at liberty for failure to comply with the obligation to educate minors in violation of article 570-ter of the penal code.
The Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Naples North and the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Juvenile Court were informed and in the meantime they have ordered the investigations of the social agents and workers and in the case of repetition, measures on parental authority are foreseen.
Meanwhile, some students were accompanied to school by the officers with the cooperation of their parents.

It is amazing how parents can not realize the importance of education for their children. School is essential for growth and development, but there are always people who do not care about this aspect.
