The State Police's activity to combat drug trafficking in the heart of Naples does not stop: yesterday afternoon, during a territorial control service, the agents of the General Prevention and Public Aid Office arrested a 28-year-old Neapolitan, already known to the police, caught red-handed while selling a dose in Largo San Giovanni Maggiore.
The young man was caught by the officers while, in exchange for a banknote, he was taking a substance from his backpack which he then passed to another person. He was immediately stopped and found in possession of 12 grams of hashish, 5 grams of marijuana and 505 euros in cash, believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing. The buyer was identified and found with a bag of hashish he had just purchased.
The search then continued at the 28-year-old's home, where the police found another 25-gram bag of hashish and packaging material. The man was arrested on charges of possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing, while the buyer was reported for personal use.

It is a serious matter that the police continue to find these substances in the center of Naples, but at the same time it is also important that they do their job of control and arrest. We hope this will help reduce traffic.
