The 38th National Assembly of Assomusica Members, the association that brings together the main producers and organizers of live shows in Italy, ended today. During today's day, dedicated to annual institutional obligations, among others, President Carlo Parodi spoke, reiterating the association's priorities in the regulatory and production context of live shows.
In his speech, Parodi underlined the urgency of approving the Entertainment Code by the deadline set for August 2025, defining it “a fundamental tool for recognizing, protecting and growing the sector”. “We hope that the Entertainment Code – Parodi declared – finally see the light of day within the expected timeframe and that crucial elements such as recognition of the professionalism of the sector, concrete support for live clubs, and a structured tax credit in favor of operators are valued within it".
“We need a reform capable of simplifying the organization of concerts and events, offering greater opportunities for realization throughout the national territory. Culture is not only a social value, but also a powerful economic and employment engine, capable of generating significant repercussions in local communities”, added the President.
The Assembly represented, as every year, a moment of discussion among members on the challenges and opportunities of the sector, with a careful eye on the evolution of the regulatory framework and the valorization of Italian production realities. Assomusica will continue to promote dialogue with institutions to ensure that the live entertainment sector has adequate tools for its sustainable and inclusive growth.
