A 16-year-old from Castel Volturno was arrested during the night by the military of the Radiomobile section of the Territorial Department of Mondragone for resisting a public official and receiving stolen goods. Also charged with driving without a license.
The boy, aboard a Honda SH without a license plate, was intercepted in via Domitiana, in the Torre di Pescopagano area.
At the stop command imposed by the Carabinieri, he responded by accelerating and fleeing. The chase lasted about three kilometers, until the young man abandoned the vehicle and attempted to escape on foot. However, he was caught and stopped by the military after a brief chase on foot.
The moped was found to be the proceeds of a robbery, reported on February 20th at the Villaricca Carabinieri station. Furthermore, 1.350 euros in cash were found on the minor, a sum that was seized. After his arrest, the 16-year-old was taken to the first reception center in Naples, in the Colli Aminei area.
