Nola – The report prepared by the Naples Postal Police regarding the death threats made to the daughter of the Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, by Stefano Addeo, a teacher from Marigliano, in the Naples area, has been filed with the Nola Public Prosecutor's Office.
The threats, published in a Facebook post, led to the suspension of the professor, who in the following days declared that he assumed "full moral and disciplinary responsibility" for the gesture, making a public appeal to the prime minister to ask for forgiveness.
The investigations, conducted rapidly by the Postal Police, have allowed them to collect evidence on the case, now being examined by the Prosecutor's Office led by Attorney Marco Del Gaudio.
According to what has been learned, the investigating office could open an investigation file, with the possibility of hypothesizing specific crimes related to the threats. The incriminating post, which has unleashed a wave of indignation, has pushed the authorities to intervene promptly to clarify the dynamics of the event and evaluate any criminal responsibilities.
Goodbye, in the days following the publication, attempted to mitigate the gravity of the gesture through statements to the media, renewing his apologies to President Meloni. However, the case remains under the scrutiny of investigators, who will have to decide the next judicial steps.
The case has reignited the debate on the responsible use of social media and the need to combat hate speech, especially when directed against minors or institutional figures. Updates are awaited on the decisions of the Nola Prosecutor's Office, which could soon formalize the charges.
