Caserta escapes house arrest
Caserta – On the evening of September 7, the Carabinieri of the Caserta station conducted routine checks on individuals subject to precautionary measures. A young Tunisian man, born in 2008, legally registered in the area and resident in the city, was unavailable at his home.
The search began immediately. Shortly thereafter, the boy was located on a public road. According to the police, he had left home without judicial authorization. He was already under house arrest for a robbery case.
Arrested in flagrante delicto for evading custody, he was again placed under house arrest by order of the judicial authorities, pending a fast-track trial. The case is now under investigation by the magistrates: the suspect's responsibility will be determined with a final sentence.
