Istanbul, Turkey — MAKTEK Eurasia 2026 has filled all 14 available halls, reaching full capacity across the 120.000 square meters of Istanbul's Tüyap Fair and Congress Center even before opening, after exhibitor demand exceeded available space. The fair will take place from September 28 to October 3, 2026 , and will bring together over 1.000 companies, brands, and representatives from more than 30 countries. Exhibitors will also include Italian manufacturers.
İlhan Ersözlü , General Manager of Tüyap Fairs Production Inc., said: " The fact that all 14 halls are fully booked reflects the strong international interest in MAKTEK Eurasia. The fair has become one of the leading events dedicated to manufacturing technologies in Turkey and the Eurasian region. It also offers companies the opportunity to access international markets, showcasing Turkey's engineering expertise and manufacturing capacity to the world ."
Murat Akyüz , President of the Machine Tools Industrialists and Business Association (TİAD), said: " MAKTEK Eurasia is one of the most comprehensive events in Turkey and the entire region for the machine tool and manufacturing technology sector. It helps companies access new markets, strengthen their competitiveness, and increase their international visibility. This role makes the fair an important platform for the future of the sector ."
Osman Fatih İğrek , President of the Turkish Machine Manufacturers Association (MİB), said: " Technology, production capacity, and collaboration are key elements for sustainable growth in the mechanical engineering sector. MAKTEK Eurasia creates an environment where these factors come together, allowing the industry to consolidate its current capabilities while helping to shape its future ."
MAKTEK Eurasia 2026 is organized by Tüyap Fairs and Exhibitions Organization Inc. in collaboration with TİAD, with the support of MİB and the Turkish Ministry of Trade. In addition to Turkey, companies, brands, and representatives from over 30 countries will participate.
Manufacturers from Italy, Germany, Switzerland, South Korea, Taiwan, France, China, Hong Kong, and Bulgaria will be present with their own stands. This format will allow mechanical industry professionals to experience firsthand the manufacturing technologies presented by the manufacturers, along with the offerings of other industry representatives.
Machine tools represent a fundamental production base for numerous sectors, from automotive to defense, from aerospace to energy, from household appliances to medical technologies. For this reason, the event takes on a broader scope, extending beyond the mechanical engineering sector alone.
The exhibition will feature next-generation CNC systems, robotics and automation solutions, digital manufacturing technologies, and smart factory applications. Solutions related to Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0, digital twin technologies, and data-driven production systems will also be presented.
During the event, numerous international brands are expected to present their world premieres or new products for the Turkish market. The theme for the 2026 edition, "DAHA ," calls for a manufacturing approach geared toward faster, more efficient, more precise, and more intelligent production.
MAKTEKVERSE will add a more experiential component to the traditional trade fair format. In the Tech-Force Area , students, young engineers, and start-ups will be able to explore innovative manufacturing technologies, while the Effect-Force Area will bring together industry representatives to foster the sharing of knowledge and experiences.
The program will also include the CNC Machine Tools Conversation , moderated by mechanical engineer M. Sinan Çalık. These initiatives will complement the main exhibition, without altering the event's central focus on manufacturing technologies.
For Italian mechanical engineering companies and industrial professionals, MAKTEK Eurasia 2026 combines the direct participation of Italian exhibitors with a fully occupied exhibition space. The presence of international operators also makes the Istanbul event particularly relevant for those following the evolution of production technologies and supplier activity in the vast Eurasian market.
