Missing from Cosenza, found in Capri after three days

Capri – The case of Salvatore Sproviero, the 42-year-old man from Cosenza who had been missing since last Wednesday, September 2nd, when he left his home in the Piazza Europa area without being heard from again, has come to a happy conclusion.

After days of anxiety, during which the family had launched urgent appeals, including via social media, the alarm was called off on Saturday morning on the island of Capri.

The man presented himself at the local police station on the blue island, identifying himself and explaining his identity to the officers present. The officers at the Capri police station immediately took care of the 42-year-old: after verifying his good general health and ensuring his immediate needs were met, they completed the usual bureaucratic procedures.

The man was subsequently taken in by his sister, who arrived on the scene to hug him and take him home, thus putting an end to a three-day nightmare.
