“The approval by the Campania regional council of our motion for the creation of the “Parco di San Martino” in the 7 square meter area under the walls of Castel Sant'Elmo in via Annibale Caccavello is wonderful news that makes us particularly satisfied. It is an abandoned space that will be used as a public park. The new park will represent a new space that will enhance, among other things, the landscape and environmental peculiarities of the area”. This was announced by the regional councilor of the Greens Francesco Emilio Borrelli and the councilor of the Sole che Ride in the V Municipality Rino Nasti. “The motion concludes years of battles by citizens and associations aimed at the creation of a green space within the area. Since it is a highly congested neighborhood, the recovery of a livable space will represent a strong benefit not only for tourists and citizens from other neighborhoods but for the residents themselves”.
