“High Impact” in the Vasto area of the city - Yesterday afternoon, June 10, in the Vasto district of the city, extraordinary territorial control services were carried out using the “High Impact” method, by order of the Prefect of Naples, Marco Valentini, after consulting the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Security.
The operation, aimed at making the prevention and fight against illegal commercial activity and all forms of illegality more effective, involved men from the Police Headquarters, the Provincial Command of the Carabinieri and the Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza, together with personnel from the ASL.
During the entire operation, 174 people were checked, of which one was arrested, 61
vehicles and 8 commercial establishments.
The checks led to the reporting of 6 people to the Judicial Authority for various reasons
of crime.
Furthermore, narcotic substances and foreign manufactured tobacco were seized, as well as applied
fines for violation of health laws and lack of health authorizations.
