Confesercenti Campania, together with Fiepet Campania, welcomes with great satisfaction the decision of the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza to confirm Campania in the yellow zone from Monday, unless there are changes, linked to an unpredictable surge in infections, always possible. "This is very important news - underlines the president Vincenzo Schiavo - first of all for the health of all of us but it is also important, from our point of view, to relaunch the economy of Campania in the restaurant and bar sectors.
Together with my colleagues Politelli and Martucci of the regional Fiepet we have worked hard to allow the many entrepreneurs in this sector to have a plan and continuity in reopening their businesses. A new closure starting on Monday, net of any possible and upcoming stringent needs to protect public health, would have been a sad, very severe and further punishment for traders who are experiencing a moment of enormous difficulty.
This news and our work will give strength and economy, we are sure, to about 60 thousand companies that have been suffering for three months and that employ over 200 thousand people. Thanks also to the work and availability of the President of the Region Vincenzo De Luca, we are confident about the relaunch of this sector, obviously ensuring sanitization and the application of the anti-Covid rules. It is right - concludes Schiavo - that restaurants, bars and places related to food also have the same opportunities as other commercial activities. We are also working to guarantee similar support and visions in other sectors".
