An entire class of elementary schools in Avellino, along with teachers, was placed in isolation after a student tested positive for Covid-19.
The case was recorded in the third grade class, which returned to school today, of the “Perna-Alighieri” comprehensive institute which has a total of 1.200 students enrolled.
The ASL of Avellino has started monitoring contacts, while waiting for the start of the screening announced by the Campania Region on school and transport sector personnel for a total of 350 thousand antigen tests.
In Avellino, the tests should be administered by general practitioners who, however, have said they are unavailable to do so in their respective professional offices without specific health guarantees.
