Arson at the office of a Justice of the Peace in Ottaviano. It happened in Agerola on the Lattari Mountains.
The Carabinieri are investigating an arson attack that at dawn this morning set the window and front door of a lawyer's office in Agerola on fire. The arsonists' target is civil lawyer Maria Cuomo, who works as a Justice of the Peace in Ottaviano. The professional who is registered with the Torre Annunziata bar explained: “At 4,50:XNUMX the owner of my office – hmi called to inform me that someone had set fire to the front door. There was an attempt to set fire to the window as well, which failed because the aluminum shutters blocked the fire”.
The Carabinieri are trying to trace the perpetrators by viewing the footage of public and private video surveillance cameras located in the area. In the meantime, the Council of the Order of Lawyers of Torre Annunziata expressed solidarity with the colleague and defined the episode as "a squalid and cowardly attempt at intimidation".
