Wanted and supported by the public, who were then joined by many artists and exponents of the world of culture and entertainment, 'E che teatro!', a TV format conceived and hosted by Lino D'Angiò e Alan De Luca, represents a pure novelty and, at the same time, a concrete action in a very long period of paralysis in the sector.
“On our social media channels, during the live broadcasts we organized in this absurd time, the public asked us to return to TV, declared their love and concrete support, launching the idea of a crowdfunding – say Lino D'Angiò and Alan De Luca –. We wanted to believe in it. We launched the fundraiser, wrote the program and then we put together other extraordinary pieces of this puzzle of art and solidarity. First the meeting with Francesco Scarano, director of the Teatro Lendi, who made the theater available and involved the partners who have followed it in its seasons since the beginning, then the constructive dialogue with Televomero, a historic Campania broadcaster, which gives us the opportunity to bring 'E che teatro!' to TV every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 23.30:21.00 pm and on Saturday, with a special episode, at XNUMX:XNUMX pm. And we have to say thank you to everyone! To this successful experiment of professional networking and popular action, which was joined by many fellow artists and other exponents of the world of entertainment with whom we have collaborated in the past. Unity is strength, we have proof of it!”.
Francesco Scarano, director of the Lendi Theatre
“This project becomes an opportunity to raise the curtain and also to send a positive and proactive message: let's raise the curtain, turn on the lights and also lift up our lives, numb, dazed, far from the daily life that we all know and to which we are accustomed.
After 300 shows brought to the stage of the Teatro Lendi in six years, everything has come to a standstill, without a vision, a perspective of openness. Seeing the theater like this, without a program, without lights, without movement in the dressing rooms and without the energy of the audience in the stalls is a paralyzing sadness. Welcoming Lino D'Angiò and Alan De Luca, a beloved and established couple in the entertainment world, on the stage means, for me, giving a sign of life to the place I love and that has become an important cultural point of reference in a difficult territory. So, welcome to 'E che teatro!'. The stage and stalls temporarily become a television studio and this was made possible by the union of energy and will”.
Antonio Tajani, administrator of Televomero
“We wanted to give maximum visibility, through our broadcaster, to this project in support of workers in a professional sector that has been hit hard by the current pandemic and, at the same time, offer viewers a new production, giving continuity to the programming, already in place for over two years, of 'Palcoscenico Napoletano', a format that is very successful in bringing Neapolitan theater to TV, and which, unfortunately, had to stop, precisely because the actors were unable to go on stage”.
Lino D'Angiò and Alan De Luca are a well-tested de facto couple, together on stage and on TV for 25 years. With their theatrical shows they have always tried to represent a clean and witty Naples, and this has allowed them to gain the esteem and affection of the public. "This alchemy was also evident in the last program made a few months ago - say Lino D'Angiò and Alan De Luca -. Despite the difficulties due to the restrictions related to the pandemic, something special happened. In this latest television program, a group of artists was created who together created magic. Prof. Amedeo Colella expert in Neapolitan culture, Claudia Federica Petrella actress or, better, Presenter, Giorgio Gallo Coccobello the Poet/bartender, Ciro Salatino young showman, Pier Macchie' singer-songwriter caricaturist, Morena Chiara the Brazilian tourist, the Afroblue, fantastic musical group formed by Helen Tesfazghi, Roberto D'Aquino, Paolo Sessa, Maurizio Fiordiliso, Paolo Forlini. They will all be in the cast of 'E che teatro!', a program that can give us all the desire to get up together at the curtain”.
