Two new illegal landfills identified in the Land of Fires. In particular, in Orta di Atella, San Giuseppe Vesuviano and Casaluce, reconnaissance activities have begun for possible activities attributable to illegal dumping
As part of the territorial control activities of the 'Safe Roads' operation of the Campania group of the Italian Army based on the 7th Bersaglieri Regiment, 385 patrol services were ensured in the past week and as a result 2 new dumping sites were identified, a fire, 1.155 people identified, of which 2 reported and 2 fined, 1018 vehicles checked, of which 2 seized and fines for 4.232 euros.
In particular, on 18 and 19 May, following control activities in the area for the dumping and illegal burning of waste, in the localities of Orta di Atella (Caserta), St. Joseph Vesuvius (Naples) and Casaluce (Caserta) have begun reconnaissance activities of the areas affected by the spills and of possible related activities, with the invaluable help of the Italian Army's Ravens.
During the most significant operations of last week, the necessary judicial police support was provided by the Carabinieri of Giugliano in Campania (Naples), the Carabinieri of Villa Literno (Caserta) and the Municipal Police of Torre Annunziata (Naples).
