“The issue of the extension of the fixed-term contracts, expiring this month, of the 147 municipal police officers, has absolute priority in the institutional agenda of the administration,” says the councilor for Local Police, Alessandra Clemente, who continues: “There are constant discussions with the prefect of Naples and with the chief of staff of the Ministry of the Interior who is personally following the mayor de Magistris to sign a further new agreement that will allow the extension of the 147 fixed-term local police officers at least until 31 December 2021.
