Lebron James, the basketball player of the Los Angeles Lakers, landed yesterday evening in Ischia and is spending part of his holidays on the green island.
The NBA star, protagonist of the film Space Jam 2, is currently cruising in the Gulf of Naples aboard Cyan, a 42-metre yacht owned by Bono Vox of U2, rented and moored yesterday evening at the dock of the Terme Comunali in the port of Ischia.
Immediately recognized by fans, James took a short tour of the main street of Ischia and then with his wife and a group of friends he went to dinner at the Giardino Eden in Cartaromana bay where he ate raw fish and spaghetti with garlic and oil washed down with a fine French red wine but he also really enjoyed a salad of Ischian cherry tomatoes.
After dinner, the basketball player walked through Piazza Antica Reggia hand in hand with his wife Savannah Brinson enjoying an ice cream cone and then returning on board. Today, weather permitting, the Cyan will circumnavigate the island of Ischia with a stop for a swim and lunch in the characteristic village of Sant'Angelo.
