An exceptional cast that of the Bianca d'Aponte Award 2021 – City of Aversa. In fact, the finalists of the contest will be joined by artists such as Alessandro Mannarino, Cristina Donà, Giovanni Truppi, Tricarico and The 'Singer-songwriters', that is to say Rossana Casale, Grace DiMichael e Mariella Nava.
The 17th edition of the event will be held on 22 e 23 October al Cimarosa Theatre of Aversa, with the artistic direction of Ferruccio Spinetti. Both evenings will be opened by Monica Sannino, winner of the latest edition of the competition (the only one in Italy reserved for female singer-songwriters), originally scheduled for last October and then postponed due to the health emergency to 14 and 15 July 2021.
The finalists of the new edition are: Anna and the apartment of Verona, Roberta DeGaetano of Messina, Miriana Faieta from Chieti, Jupiter of Turin, Isotta from Siena, Olivia XX from Civita Castellana (Viterbo), Alexandra Pirrone of Catania, Valentina Polinori From Rome, Claudia Salvini from Montevarchi (Arezzo), Vito from Vinci (Florence).
There will be two main prizes. One is the absolute prize, the Bianca d'Aponte Award, which includes a scholarship of 1.000 euros, and the other is the critics' prize, named after Fausto Mesolella, the event's historic artistic director, whose scholarship will be 800 euros. Jury awards will also go to the best interpretation, the best text and the best music. Various other prizes will also be assigned by individual members of the jury or by organizations and associations close to d'Aponte.
