Tkidneys suppressed in Scafati due to bad weather: the Circumvesuviana station is flooded. Eav announces the interruption along the Scafati-Poggiomarino route.
An attached station with consequent interruption of a railway line, cancelled departures and inevitable delays. The bad weather that is affecting Campania is creating serious problems for commuters who use the Circumvesuviana trains.
As announced by the Autonomous Volturno Authority, “due to flooding of the Scafati station, traffic on the Pompei Santuario-Poggiomarino route is currently interrupted. Trains scheduled from Poggiomarino depart from Pompei”.
The 6.49 trains from Scafati to Poggiomarino and the 8.04 train on the reverse route have been cancelled. The 7.47 trains departing from Naples to Poggiomarino and the 9.16 train from Poggiomarino to Naples have also been cancelled. The 8 trains from Naples to Sorrento and the one scheduled for 10 from Sorrento to the Campania capital have also been cancelled.
