Napoli. This morning the officers of the Montecalvario Police Station, while passing through San Mattia's Cove Street, they noticed a man looking out of the window of a house with a large envelope in his hand and who was talking to a person who, at the sight of them, moved away.
Once the police entered the apartment, they checked the man and found him in possession of 245 euros while, in the envelope, they found 200 packages of foreign manufactured tobacco without the State Monopolies brand for a weight of 4 kg; furthermore, inside the bedroom wardrobe they found and seized other 600 packages for a weight of 11 kg.
Gennaro Zizolfi, a 61-year-old Neapolitan with a criminal record, was arrested for smuggling foreign manufactured tobacco.
