From Monday 8th to Sunday 14th November, at Nocera Inferiore, in a secret location, the second Teaser of the TV Series will be shot, Witch Legacy, which will be broadcast worldwide on major platforms.
Witch Legacy is the project Italian more innovative, which differs significantly from traditional Italian productions: no hospitals, no Camorra, no police. We are talking about a production of more than 200 million dollars, developed for the first time in Italy, unlike the big giants like Marvel and Warner that have their origins overseas. It is not just a simple TV series, but it can represent the productive innovation of the Italian cinema market, which until now had never gone this far.
"As the main producer, it seemed right to me to be able to carry out the figurative baptism of the series in our territories, which during the 2022 filming will also be protagonists of some scenes, which will be shot in the province of Salerno“, anticipates the producer and creator Edoardo Lombardi General Manager of Ema Entertainment.
The series will be filmed between Malta and Italy; after the first season "The Origins", it will develop into four more already scheduled, in which we will see the brand new League of Heroes in action.
The story, which explores the eternal conflict between the forces of good and evil, with a narrative that moves between past and present, will air in 2023 and involves a total production of about 24 months: filming has already started at the beginning of 2021. History and mythology merge and as in every fantasy product, fairy creatures and spells clash with the struggles for power. Superheroes and medieval settings alternate with the present.
The protagonist will be the very young Giada Gentilini, making her debut on the big screen, who will play the role of Sara Kennet, destined to inherit the powerful powers of a witch, which will allow her to fight with the League of Heroes against the forces of evil to save the world. But alongside her there will also be names of the caliber of Clark Gregg, agent Phil Coulson in The Avengers in 2012, for seven seasons of Agents of SHIELD on ABC together with Chloe Bennet, also an agent in the American series. Lani Minelli, famous American voice actress also of some of the most important video games in the world, will lend her voice.
The series uses the most modern production systems, digital visual effects and CGI, in the DNA of director Paolo Bertola who for over 30 years has alternated his work behind the camera with that of digital visual effects design. And so in Witch Legacy digital visual effects will be one of the most fascinating and important components of the entire production process.
