The investigating judge of the Court of Naples North has accepted the request for disqualification from the profession by the Public Prosecutor's Office against an occupational physician who issued medical certificates for work fitness without ever subjecting workers to a medical examination. The doctor, at the end of an investigation coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Naples North, was suspended from practicing medicine for one year. According to what emerged from the checks in the companies, the doctor had drawn up over 80 false health fitness certificates, which were then produced to companies in the municipalities of Sant'Antimo, Nola, Ottaviano, Palma Campania, Castellammare di Stabia, Poggiomarino and San Giuseppe Vesuviano. The investigating judge also accepted the requests for the application of real precautionary measures formulated by the local prosecutor's office, ordering the preventive seizure of the shares and the company complex used by the professional to carry out his professional activity, as well as subjecting to seizure part of the sums of money resulting from the false certificates.
