A man is missing in Swan Lake: he is a fisherman who fell into the water this morning, Thursday, January 20. The firefighters of the Piedimonte Matese detachment and the firefighter divers of the Provincial Command of Naples, as well as the Carabinieri, intervened on the scene and promptly began the search for the missing fisherman. The body of water of Ciorlano is well-known and very popular for sport fishing.

According to what has been learned, the missing man, originally from the province of Benevento, arrived on the shores of Swan Lake last night, and camped in a tent with a friend, also originally from the same place; according to the latter, the missing fisherman left in the middle of the night.

From an initial reconstruction by investigators, it would seem that the fisherman took the dinghy and reached the point where the line of his rod was immersed in the water, to check if any fish had taken the bait, but from that moment on, all traces of him were lost: the dinghy was found on the shore at first light this morning by the other fisherman who, worried, raised the alarm, setting the search machine in motion; there is still no trace of the man.
