The epidemic curve in Italy is still decreasing.
The new cases are 40.948, compared to 46.169 yesterday but above all 53.662 last Friday: a weekly decrease of 24%, recovering after the slowdown of the last few days. swabs 440.115 people have been processed, about 44 fewer than yesterday, but the positivity rate is still falling, from 9,5% to 9,3%, the lowest since last December.
There are 193 deaths (yesterday 249): the victims totals since the beginning of the pandemic are 154.206. Intensive care is still decreasing, 40 less (yesterday -47) with 58 admissions today and they are down to 799 overall, and ordinary hospitalizations, 419 less (yesterday -402), 11.706 in total. This is what emerges from the SNOW daily newspaper of the Ministry of Health.
The region with the highest number of cases today is the Lazio with 5.029 infections, followed by Lombardia (+ 4.599), Veneto (+ 3.578), Campania (+3.536) and Sicilia (+3.480). Total cases reach 12.693.320.

The discharged/recovered in the last 24 hours are 65.180 (yesterday 69.439) for a total that rises to 11.363.190. For this reason the currently positivei are still decreasing, 23.304 less (yesterday -22.195), and fall to 1.175.924. Of these 1.163.419 patients are in home isolation.
