In Contrada Pisani, in the Pianura neighborhood on the outskirts of Naples, as reported by a group of residents who turned to the Regional Councilor of Europa Verde Francesco Emilio Borrelli, there would be a hydrogeological risk linked to the rainwater collection tank. In fact, it is saturated with rocks and debris from the overlying Collina degli spadari, affected, just recently, by landslides.
Residents are alarmed because they fear that with the next waves of bad weather the waters of the collection tank could overflow, dragging with them the accumulated debris, causing damage to things and people, given that in the affected area there are homes and state-owned properties.
“We raised the issue with the city administration and the Regional Council, asking them to call a team of technicians to inspect the area and carry out checks to study an intervention plan and secure the area,” said Councilor Borrelli.
