The concert-conversations, born from an idea of the artistic director Marisa Laurito, through songs, anecdotes and poems, want to narrate the charm of the Neapolitan capital. The theme of the fifth appointment is Love, passion and jealousy, on stage Francesca Colapietro (voice), Mariano Bellopede (piano and musical arrangements), Luigi Fiscale (bass and double bass), Marco Fazzari (drums). The lyrics are by Carmine Borrino; the voiceover by Gino Curcione; special guest of the evening will be Marco Morandi. Ticket price 10 euros; reduced 7 euros reserved for students. Tickets can be purchased on www.azzurroservice.net
The fifth conversation-concert by Mariano Bellopede and Francesca Colapietro will be a journey through Neapolitan song through songs that talk about love, even in its most extreme declinations: passion and jealousy. We will talk about platonic love, passionate love, frivolous love, but also about love that goes away. The common thread of the journey will be the song È frennesia, sung at the Naples Festival by Maria Paris, which contains in its lyrics the three themes of the conference. Among the songs that talk about jealousy, La nova gelosia, also known as Fenesta co sta nova gelosia and Canzone di Afragola, by an anonymous author, rediscovered by Roberto Murolo, and later taken up by many other great artists; and again Freva 'e gelusia (verses by Alfonso Chiarazzo).
The musical journey created by Bellopede and Colapietro will also include the great classics of Neapolitan song such as Passione, Indifferentemente and a tribute to Massimo Troisi with 'O ssaje comme fà 'o core, the verses written together with Pino Daniele.
During the evening, Marco Morandi will speak, an artist who has always been linked to Naples, the city where his parents, Gianni Morandi and Laura Efrikian, met and fell in love on the set of the film In ginocchio da te. For the occasion, the artist will duet with Francesca Colapietro in the song Cu'mme! by Mia Martini and Roberto Murolo and will bring an unreleased Ninna Nanna to the stage, translated for the occasion into Neapolitan.
The events of Le Mille e una Napoli will continue on May 18th with the villanelles; it closes on May 26th with the Irony in Neapolitan song.
