Naples has always been a “particular” football club, difficult to manage and complicated to communicate with.
Even in Maradona's golden years there were often problems, arguments and even serious discussions despite the successes.
Just think that in Naples only one football team from the city has managed to resist despite the fact that there have been various teams over the years, such as the legendary Internapoli (see the end of the article for its history) which was born on 30 June 1964 but after several vicissitudes, in 2012 has definitively ceased to exist.
This is because the different souls that characterize football in Naples, compared to other footballing realities, easily "split" as soon as there is the slightest problem.
Naples certainly lacks a figure who can act as a balance between the Club, the Team and the Fans. The absence of someone capable of doing this has been evoked from many quarters.
And so begins the waltz of who is right and who is wrong, all seasoned with the fact that those who criticize, who divide, who shout, do so have a short memory on important facts.
For example, the President of Napoli, Aurelio De Laurentiis, is right when he says that he brought the football that counts back to Naples after it had failed; very true, and we Neapolitans should never stop thanking him since he succeeded where others had failed.
But at the same time he is wrong when he, who is a genius of communication, cannot find a "dry" way without frills to make everyone, including fans, understand how things are, avoiding the nice "jerks" that are not understood and comprehended by everyone and that do more harm than good.
Spalletti is right in saying that for him Napoli's season is excellent because he managed to achieve the club's seasonal objective, that is, returning to the Champions League; true, this was the objective declared publicly and for this reason he deserves to be congratulated, he managed to bring home the result.
But he is wrong because he did not understand that we were all greedy because never like this year was the third scudetto within Napoli's reach and perhaps a little more competitive nastiness and desire to win would have allowed us to reach an important goal.
The fans are right to be disappointed and angry because this year too Napoli's championship has had a mysterious decline that in Empoli - Napoli has brought to mind the same situation experienced last year with Napoli - Verona. Not to mention Inter Napoli or other matches like Napoli Roma or Fiorentina Napoli
And in fact, seeing your team not fight until the end can make you angry.
But Napoli fans are equally wrong because we must understand that this is the reality, we cannot do more than this and we must "settle".
In short, all of us, fans, clubs, professionals and the press, should always start from the assumption that to win we need unity, not division.
Everyone must do their own job, know-it-alls, those who presume to know the absolute truths, should not be listened to, nor followed and above all their thoughts should not be amplified.
From Wikipedia :
Internapoli has ancient roots, dating back to 1909, the year in which it was founded.AC Vomero, from the name of the hilly district of Naples, always playing minor tournaments. At the end of the twenties, the Vomero Stadium was built in the district (the Stadium, after 1963, will take the name of a sports journalist who died in 1959, Arturo Collana), which in fact became the official stadium of the team. In the 1933-34 season, due to the unavailability, for works, of the stadium “Giorgio Ascarelli“, he played it Napoli and after the war, it also became his official camp, as the Ascarelli had been destroyed by the bombings.
