Gino Rivieccio will be the artistic director of the prestigious event, Premio Massimo Troisi, which will take place in San Giorgio a Cremano, from 12 to 16 July 2022.
The organizational machine of the XXII edition is already in motion and this year there will also be an excellent partnership with Zelig in Milan, with the aim of increasingly strengthening the discovery of comic artistic talents, including actors, playwrights, film and fiction screenwriters.
Rivieccio was appointed to lead the 2022 edition of the Award, after having participated in the expression of interest for the appointment of artistic coordinator and after having already directed the 2019 and 2020 editions, the year in which the Award did not stop despite the country being in the midst of a pandemic.

On the other hand, it may be because of an emotional bond I have had since I was a child towards San Giorgio, or because of the feeling with the San Giorgio audience, but every time I return to Villa Bruno I feel at home. And then Massimo and I still have a lot to say to each other. Just think that before drawing up the program and choosing the artists to host, I ask myself: "But would Massimo like it? In the end I let him choose...".
