The Unione Imprese Centenarie Italiane, once again addresses the new generations by organizing the second edition of the “Carpenè-Malvolti” Degree Award, an initiative included in the celebrations of Procida Italian Capital of Culture 2022.
The degree award, worth €3000 (three thousand), promoted with the Patronage of the CUR Regional University Committee of Campania, will be financed by the historic sparkling wine house Carpenè Malvolti of Conegliano and is aimed at all students who have obtained a master's degree in the period 2020-2022 (or equivalent according to the old system) at the Universities of Campania.
The 2022 edition of the award will focus on the theme “The space of memory as immanent inspiration: the role of Italian Centenary Companies” which aims to stimulate a reflection on the cultural heritage of which the longest-lived companies in our country are the custodians: a heritage of traditions and knowledge linked to the territory of origin that are the basis of entrepreneurial longevity.
"The cultural vocation of our associates is also confirmed by this second edition of the Degree Award which sees the contribution of a brand of excellence such as Carpenè-Malvolti 1868. A brand that will accompany us in one of the many initiatives promoted by the Union on the occasion of Procida Italian Capital of Culture 2022" says Eugenio Alphandery, president of the Centenary Business Union
"The history of the Carpenè-Malvolti Company, which this year celebrates 154 years of activity – says Domenico Scimone – finds in the project shared with the Unione Imprese Centenarie one of its most prestigious expressions. This collaboration is thus an important demonstration of respect for the entrepreneurial history of the country and for those who built it.
Antonio Carpenè, founder of the Company, has always seen great potential in the new generations and in order to ensure that they had access to adequate scientific training aimed at developing specific skills, he had already founded the first Oenological School in Italy in Conegliano in 1876. With the same spirit, the same Company still today in his name continues to support excellent training projects at a national and international level.".
"Campania is the protagonist with Procida, Italian Capital of Culture 2022, of an exciting season that also sees, and above all, its young people as protagonists. The territory and its universities intend to make the most of an opportunity to enhance their traditions and the values that memory, kept alive by culture and entrepreneurship, can and must pass on” declared the Rector Vincenzo Loia, President of the Regional University Committee of Campania.
Participants must register by the deadline of August 31, 2022 on the website of the Unione Imprese Centenarie Italiane at the following link: https://www.uicitalia.org/programma-centum/laurea.html by filling out the specific application form and attaching the required documents.
