Borgo Orefici, caught with drugs: 30-year-old Gambian illegal on Italian soil arrested.
Yesterday afternoon, officers from the Decumani Police Station, during a patrol to combat drug dealing, while passing through Piazzetta Teodoro Monticelli, noticed a man who was giving something to a person who, at the sight of the officers, quickly moved away.
The police reached and stopped the drug dealer, finding him in possession of 11 packages containing approximately 12 grams of marijuana, two cell phones and 10 euros; furthermore, the man, during the identification phase, provided false personal details.
AS, a 30-year-old Gambian illegally residing in the country, was arrested for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing, as well as reported for false declarations to a Public Official regarding personal identity, illegal entry and residence in the country and for failure to comply with the order to leave the country issued on 24 November 2021 by the Naples Police Chief.
