'Sensitive community at a standstill', the complaint of Michele Russo of Insieme per Scafati: “Evidence of inefficiency and inconclusiveness.”
The Comunità Sensibile company for social services established last fall between the municipal administrations of Scafati, Angri, Sant'Egidio del Monte Albino and Corbara is completely at a standstill and not operational. The complaint comes from Michele Russo, council group leader of 'Insieme per Scafati'.
“I remember well the troubled birth of Comunità Sensibile. At the time there were several requests from the municipal administration that wanted to pass a resolution without the expected absolute majority of votes also citing the rush to be operational. After nine months there is no trace of operational activity of this company. And yet the top management was appointed, but nothing started”he said.
The doubt is that there are difficulties related to previous debts: “We do not want the mayors’ difficulties to be linked to economic reasons. All of this must be explained transparently to citizens and institutional representatives. There are activities that can no longer be postponed. In the coming days, we will implement initiatives to understand what is causing this stalemate. It is certainly clear that the Board of Directors of Comunità Sensibile is already demonstrating inefficiency and inconclusiveness. These delays will have repercussions on the programming and on ongoing and future activities. All of this is unacceptable.”
