Vomero. He had 30 minutes or more to act undisturbed. More than half an hour to carefully choose the valuables to take away. And that's how a burglar managed to collect a loot worth about 150 thousand euros without any problem by burgling a house in Vomero.
The man, after putting on a cap and surgical mask, sneaked into a condominium in via Giuseppe Orsi at 2.09 am, headed resolutely towards the chosen apartment and then left at 2.41 am.
The owner of the apartment himself tells the story, addressing the Regional Councillor of Europa Verde Francesco Emilio Borrelli:
“A single man came up. He stole about 150 thousand euros of valuable watches and 3 designer bags from me while staying in the house for 30 minutes. In another recording you can see how the man is wearing a mask outside the building, evidently he hadn't noticed the external camera.”
"We ask that the subject be identified and arrested as soon as possible by checking. It is clear as day that nowadays no one can sleep soundly. The Police Commissioner and the Prefect must work to restore safety and legality to the city that is now at the mercy of delinquents and criminals." - declared Borrelli together with Rino Nasti, municipal councilor of Europa Verde.
