Firefighters responded to an unprecedented incident on a grazing plateau in Alta Irpinia. A cow fell into a fifteen-meter-deep well. The farmer's call for help was answered by firefighters from the Montella (Avellino) detachment, whose team responded to the incident in Bagno della Regina.
After many hours of work and thanks to a special winch sent by the Provincial Command of Avellino, the bovine, weighing five quintals, was harnessed and brought to the surface safe and sound. After having checked its conditions and cleaned it from the mud, the animal returned to the pasture.
