Unprecedented intervention of the firefighters on a plateau of Alta Irpinia intended for grazing. A cow ended up in a fifteen-meter deep well. The call for help from the breeder was received by the red helmets of the Montella detachment (Avellino) whose team intervened in the Bagno della Regina area, where the accident occurred.
After many hours of work and thanks to a special winch sent by the Provincial Command of Avellino, the bovine, weighing five quintals, was harnessed and brought to the surface safe and sound. After having checked its conditions and cleaned it from the mud, the animal returned to the pasture.
