Quartieri Spagnoli, tragedy narrowly avoided in Portacarrese in Montecalvario where a group of French tourists opposed the attempted robbery of a Rolex: 2 injured
In Naples, at around 3 in the morning, the Carabinieri intervened in Via Portacarrese in Montecalvario in the heart of the Spanish Quarters for a report of an attempted robbery of a Rolex watch.
The military of the Arma collected the story of a group of French tourists, in particular of two people. Shortly before, the group was walking near the trattoria Da Nennella, when they were approached by two people riding a scooter, armed with a pistol, who fired shots with the aim of intimidating, then trying to steal the watch from a 32-year-old Parisian woman.
One of the victim's friends, a peer and fellow countryman, was attacked and, in an attempt to protect her, was hit in the head probably with the butt of a gun. Taken to the emergency room of the Pellegrini hospital, the two tourists who were victims of the robbers refused hospitalization and were discharged.
The woman has a fracture of the lateral epiphysis of the left clavicle, with a prescription of 30 days of rest, the man a non-concussive head trauma with abrasions. No shell casings were found on the street, and this suggests that the gun was loaded with blanks.
