Aversa. The Caserta State Police executed an arrest warrant on suspicion of crime against a 42-year-old Tunisian national, as he was seriously suspected of the crime of mistreatment and personal injury.
In particular, staff of the Police Station of Aversa learned that, last Saturday evening, a non-EU citizen had been admitted to the emergency room of Moscati Hospital following a brutal physical attack.
Personnel “specialized” in investigating “gender” crimes confirmed the woman’s actual presence at the hospital, and she had been diagnosed with very serious injuries with a provisional prognosis of 30 days.
After overcoming the woman's initial reluctance, the investigators immediately began judicial police activity that allowed them to reconstruct the dynamics of the attack, identifying the Tunisian citizen, who had been living with the woman for about a year, as the person responsible for the attack. Following targeted observation services, the suspect was tracked down near an abandoned garage.
From the reconstruction of the incident, it was established that the subject, probably in a state of drunkenness, had brutally attacked, for trivial reasons, his partner, hitting her with punches, kicks, also using a wooden stick, and then inflicting a cigarette that caused numerous burns on her upper limbs. The suspect, who was also found to be illegal on the national territory, was placed under judicial police custody and, after the ritual formalities, taken to the S. Maria CV District Prison at the disposal of the competent judicial authority.
