This morning, the Carabinieri of the Operational and Radiomobile Unit of the Sessa Aurunca Company, during a service aimed at countering the commission of drug-related crimes, proceeded, in the Scauri district of Minturno, together with the military personnel of the Formia Carabinieri Company, to arrest a fifty-year-old local man in flagrante delicto for possession for the purpose of dealing.
The military personnel of the Arma, following the personal and home search, found in his possession over 4,0 kg. of marijuana and 24,1 gr. of hashish, mostly stored in the basement of the house and hidden inside ten plastic buckets.
Furthermore, hundreds of marijuana inflorescences ready to be packaged in containers for storage and a precision scale were found and seized. Further immediate investigations allowed us to ascertain that the arrested person is a recipient of citizen income.
He was taken to the Cassino prison, where he will be held by the competent judicial authority.
