One of the most beloved Italian series, now a true phenomenon, is about to return with its third season.
But with many new features starting from the broadcast. Compared to the previous two seasons 'SEA OUT' debuts on RaiPlay on February 1st, and then from February 15th in prime time on Rai 2. In the series, set in the juvenile prison of Naples, great returns: like that of Ciro Ricci, played by Giacomo Giorgio.
Also returning with him will be Massimiliano Caiazzo who plays Carmine Di Salvo, Nicolas Maupas who plays Filippo Ferrari, Valentina Romani who plays Naditza, Matteo Paolillo who plays Edoardo Conte, Carolina Crescentini who plays Paola (director of the juvenile detention institute) and Carmine Recano who plays Massimo (the commander of the penitentiary police), Artem who plays Pino o' Pazzo and Maria Esposito who plays Rosa Ricci, Ciro's sister.
Among the new entries of the new season Lucrezia Guidone, in the role of Sofia Durante, a new educator who immediately appears harsh and judgmental towards the boys and girls of the IPM. And again, Clara Soccini in the role of Giulia, a Milanese trapper, Giuseppe Pirozzi and Francesco Panarella in those of the Di Meo brothers guilty together with Dobermann (Salahudin Tijani Imrana), a non-EU friend, of having devastated a hospital.
The main protagonists are the theme of freedom, love - an unknown and destabilizing feeling for the characters - and new songs that accompany the protagonists in their growth in the name of discovering new aspects of themselves. 'MARE FUORI 3' promises many emotions.
“The character I play deals with guilt and failure after breaking up with his wife and separating from his son. A journey that makes him aware of the feelings he has for Paola (Crescentini, ed.),” said Carmine Recano.
“In the new season we find a softer Paola, more understanding towards the boys and girls of the Institute,” said an excited Carolina Crescentini. “In the new episodes – anticipated Valentina Romani – Naditza must grow and learn to distinguish what is right from what is wrong.
He will make important choices”. There are those who learn to forgive like Carmine Di Salvo. “At the end of the second season – said Massimiliano Caiazzo – he was destroyed and thanks to the friends who love him, here he begins a journey of forgiveness. By forgiving himself, he is able to forgive others. And perhaps in this rebirth there is also room for the family, with whom he has a conflictual relationship.
And then in prison he faces many risks, he has to watch his back carefully”. Matteo Paolillo, interpreter and author of the theme song and some songs of the series, for the new episodes “I worked on the maturity of Edoardo Conte, even if his childish side remains”, declared the actor.
“We are already working on the fourth season, a fifth and maybe a sixth is also planned,” announced the creator of the series Cristiana Farina. “The format is solid, it can last for seasons, it depends on us, we have a huge responsibility. The series is successful abroad, we are in about 25 countries.
We also started talking about possible adaptations in Europe. We got here thanks to the accumulation of viewers: the first season was not yet consolidated, it exploded with the second season, thanks to RaiPlay, something unexpected for us", said Roberto Sessa of Picomedia.
“Of the 21 million RaiPlay users, half are under 35. The first season had already shown good numbers, but the series exploded on RaiPlay with the second season. The audience recovered the first season after the end of the second, for a long time it was among the most viewed series.
70% of users who watched the series on RaiPlay are under 35, over 50% are under 25”, added Elena Capparelli, director of RaiPlay and Digital. Among the new features, from 1 February 'MARE FUORI #Confessioni' debuts on RaiPlay, 25 episodes of about 7 minutes that give voice to the protagonists and an unfiltered account of the most intense moments experienced on the set: an opportunity for the audience of the series to get to know the actors better, through their reflections on the events in which they were protagonists, as if they had really happened.
The language is close to that of the mockumentary, a narrative device in which fictional events are commented as if they were real, through the artifice of a documentary language. While waiting for the debut, the cast dreams of the Sanremo Festival: "I ask Rai CEO Carlo Fuortes for the possibility of the boys going up on the Ariston stage to sing the theme song of the series", declared Sessa. "I will do everything to make it possible", replied Fuortes.
