La Local Police di Napoli, attraverso le Unità Operative di Avvocata e Chiaia, ha effettuato controlli serrati nelle zone maggiormente frequentate dai turisti per contrastare il commercio ambulante abusivo.
The agents carried out operations in Piazza Municipio, Via Toledo, Via Chiaia, Via Filangieri, Via Nazario Sauro and Via Gradoni di Chiaia where a terraced area used illegally to store goods was discovered.
The Local Police proceeded with the immediate seizure of a large quantity of goods and identified one of the users of the premises, further investigations are underway.
Among the seized goods were numerous counterfeit items with logos of various brands; among the various trinkets seized were 1261 pairs of glasses; 850 pairs of various jewelry; 589 cell phone covers; 625 various toys and numerous scarves, bags, hats and watches.
