As is now customary, the Premio Bianca d'Aponte, the Italian contest reserved for female singer-songwriters, takes some of the protagonists of previous editions on tour in the spring. In addition to offering a stage to these new talents of Italian song, it is also the occasion to launch the competition announcement for the next edition of the contest, the 19th.
The announcement is available together with the registration form on www.premiobiancadaponte.it . Participation is as always free, while the deadline is set for April 24, 2023. The artistic direction is by Ferruccio Spinetti.
There are three events scheduled: March 22 in Rome for Officina Pasolini and March 28 and 29 in Madrid and Logroño for the Italian Cultural Institute of Madrid.
On the stage of Officina Pasolini, a creative laboratory of high training and cultural HUB of the Lazio Region directed by Tosca, will be Moà, winner of the last edition, Jole (with guitarist Leonardo Marcucci), who in 2022 won the critics' award "Fausto Mesolella", and Jungle J Anne (mention for the best interpretation in 2022). The guest of honor will be Chiara Civello (godmother of the 2021 edition of the contest), while the evening will be hosted by Enrico Deregibus, consultant of the Award.

The three March events of the “Bianca d'Aponte Award in tour” repeat those of last year in the same places and are added to others organised in previous years in Naples, Maranello (Modena), Bergamo, Faenza as part of the Mei, as well as in Milan and Rome twice and in Barcelona three times.
When the announcement expires, at the end of April, the finalists will be selected, the last phase of which will be entrusted to a large and prestigious Guarantee Committee, made up of singers, authors, sector operators and music journalists.
The finals will be held at the Cimarosa theater in Aversa on 27 and 28 October.
The winner of the overall prize will receive a scholarship of €1.000, while the winner of the "Fausto Mesolella" critics' prize (in homage to the historical artistic director of the event) will receive a scholarship of €800. The general jury will also award mentions to the best text ( from this year dedicated to Oscar Avogadro), to the best music and the best interpretation. But there are many other prizes and bonuses awarded by individual members of the jury or by bodies and associations close to d'Aponte.
