He was in bed at home and complained of severe pain. But the intervention of two State Police officers proved providential.

The episode occurred in Torre del Greco. Following a call to 113 from a resident in the area who reported the screams of an elderly person in difficulty, two officers from the Torre del Greco Police Station managed to enter the apartment of an 84-year-old man, finding him bedridden while complaining of severe joint pain and unable to get up.

The two officers, Carmine and Ciro, helped the old man to stand up with the help of a stick. After the thanks, the man, in front of a coffee, needed company and told them some anecdotes of his life.
