On Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd July, in Giffoni Valle Piana (SA), in the facilities of the Giffoni Multimedia Valley, the first edition of Giffoni Good Games will take place, conceived and created by Giffoni Innovation Hub in collaboration with Giffoni Experience.
There will be many guests at Giffoni Good Games, including Fabio Viola, an industry professional with titles such as Fifa, The Sims and Crash Bandicoot behind him, and who is now one of the world's leading experts in gamification. Another special guest is game developer and startupper Christian Pulieri.
One of the main attractions of the event will undoubtedly be the Creator District, the format created by Dario Moccia and Davide Masella. Among the most anticipated guests will be some of the most famous and recognized influencers of the Italian scene. Virginia “Kafkanya” Gambatesa, Sabaku and Giorgio “Pow3r” Calandrelli will be present to involve fans in exciting activities and meet & greet sessions. The activities of interest will also be the work of the numerous partners of the event.
Side Academy will be Educational Partner: the academy aims to train highly specialized professionals in the field of animated cinema, special effects, advertising and video games. At Giffoni Good Games will offer workshops and laboratories together with a very special guest: Sarah Arduini, teacher and Oscar winner for the best VFX in the film Jungle Book. The company GL17CH will also join as Multigaming Partner of the event. Born from the ambition of the footballer Ciro Immobile, it will carry out great activities that will put real and virtual sports in synergy, promoting the values of sports culture.
Also present is the From Real To Sim area, with 6 Sim Racing stations, 2 of which are specifically designed to allow people with disabilities to immerse themselves in the e-sport universe, to convey the values of motorsport in a dialogue between Sim drivers and real drivers of the Kessel team. During the event, the playoffs of the tenth season of the Italian Rocket Championship, the official Italian championship of Rocket League, will take place. Finally, one of the most anticipated moments will be the final of the University Master, the first video game tournament between Italian universities organized by 2WATCH.
