From today it is possible to reserve, in the post offices of the province of Naples, the silver commemorative medal dedicated to the third title of Campione d’Italia won by the Società Sportiva Calcio Naples.
The collector's item, which costs 150 euros, is made by the master engraver of the State Mint Valerio De Seta, is an unlimited edition, weighs 18 grams, has a diameter of 32 millimetres and is kept in a case with a personalised box and guarantee certificate. The obverse features the logo of the Società Sportiva Calcio Napoli with the years of the current season, “2022-2023”, surrounded by a crown with the writing “SSC NAPOLI CHAMPION OF ITALY” and the tricolour shield.
Sul reverse, an image of fans celebrating the Scudetto won in a typical Neapolitan alley, to represent the strong bond between the city and the club. This commemorative medal, which follows those minted for the other titles won by Napoli, testifies to the importance of the Neapolitan club in the history of Italian football and anticipates the issue of the ordinary stamp of the thematic series “The Sport” dedicated to the winning team of the Serie A football championship and scheduled for the month of June.
