A passenger's story: "We were sleeping and then the bang"
“They were all sleeping, I think. What woke us up was the violent braking and then the bang, when we collided with the cars, before ending up in the ditch“This is the first testimony of one of the bus passengers.
The young man, from Lecce, was headed to Rome. Once he reached the capital he should have reached Florence. He has a bruise on his shoulder, like many other passengers who were with him. The bus is left yesterday at 23pm from Lecce and was due to arrive at the capital's Tiburtina station at 7am.
In the Grottaminarda gym, almost all the Flixbus passengers are present, mostly with bruises: the doctors of the Avellino center are reporting them one by one. Some have a collar, some have bandages on their limbs, but nothing more.
