Moments of tension in Ercolano in a story with a happy ending. It was just after 20 pm when the report to 112 of the disappearance of 2 people arrived.
They are two tourists, a husband and wife, both Romans aged 53 and 51. They were inside the Vesuvius National Park and they were the ones who asked for help from the operations center of the Torre del Greco company.
They were walking along the path “Hell Valley” when they lost their bearings. The search began immediately with the Carabinieri of the Tenenza di Herculaneum who, together with the other relevant bodies, set out to search for the Roman couple.
After about 3 hours and the anxiety of the approaching night, the good news arrived. An authorized tour guide found the 2 tourists and took them to the military. Husband and wife were near the side falling in Municipality of Ottaviano. They are fine to the relief of all the protagonists of the story.
