Naples. They drove the wrong way down the highway exit ramp, just to escape. But two car thieves, a Napoli, were however arrested by the municipal police.
The two, aged 34 and 44, were caught in via Ferrante Imparato while they were stealing a high-powered car. To escape, they drove another vehicle, drove the wrong way down the highway exit ramp and then, due to the traffic, reversed direction towards via Gianturco where they continued on foot.
It is at that point that the central investigation agents assisted by their colleagues from the operational unit Saint John they managed to block them. The thieves were found in possession of an electronic device to disable control units, two control units for starting vehicles and various burglary tools.
