A night of fear but also of hard work for the firefighters for a fire in the historic center of Naples.
The Carabinieri of the Naples center company intervened in via San Giovanni Maggiore Pignatelli for a fire. Shortly before, for reasons currently being ascertained, the flames had damaged the air conditioning motors of a restaurant of a well-known restaurant chain and of an association that is also creating a permanent exhibition.
A gas meter was also damaged. The Carabinieri are investigating to identify any responsible parties. Both the restaurant owners and the association organizers were interviewed for summary information by the Carabinieri. Both reported that they had not received any threats or extortion requests.
The firefighters are evaluating the causes of the fire and it is not excluded that it was an accident due perhaps to overloading.
