In Nocera Inferiore we mourn the death of 32 year old Elia Craaoccia who died yesterday after falling from a path near the Tibetan bridge of Roccamandolfi, in the province of Isernia, while she was hiking with her boyfriend and a couple of friends.

The Isernia firefighters and the Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps of Molise worked for about seven hours to recover the young woman's body. The recovery, according to the reconstruction of the teams of the Cnsas Molise who set in motion a complex rescue machine with mountaineering techniques and ropes to reach the place where the young woman fell to the bottom of an 80-meter deep ravine, it was very difficult due to the impervious place, characterized by thick vegetation.

The body of the girl who was spending a few days on vacation in Molise, was brought back up the path, and late in the evening delivered to be transported to the morgue in Isernia.

The technical recovery operations were carried out under the coordination of the Alpine Rescue in cooperation with the Isernia fire brigade personnel.
