A team of technicians from the National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps, at the request of the Carabinieri of the Cantalupo del Sannio station (Isernia), this morning went to the point where yesterday the 32-year-old Elia Caroccia, originally from Nocera Inferiore (Salerno), lost her life after falling from a path adjacent to the Tibetan bridge of Roccamandolfi.

To recover the victim's artifacts and personal effects, two rope descents were necessary along the walls below the point where the woman slipped. Some of the artifacts were in the riverbed, approximately 80 meters below the trail. Once back upstream, the recovered materials were handed over to the Carabinieri commander of the Cantalupo del Sannio station, who was present on the scene. Rescuers, meanwhile, wanted to extend their "deepest condolences to the family of the deceased woman."
