The Carabinieri of the Quarto branch have executed a precautionary custody order issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Naples at the request of the Naples prosecutor's office against a 33-year-old local man already known to the police.
The man is considered seriously suspected of mistreatment committed against his wife from whom he is in the process of separating. He is said to have repeatedly beaten and threatened the woman, generating in her a serious state of anxiety and fear.
The 33-year-old was locked up in Poggioreale prison where the man will have time to reflect on his violent behavior. For the woman, however, the end of a nightmare and mental freedom.
