A kitten was saved by the local police officers of Salerno who intervened after the report to the ASL by some young people.
“The event involving the kitten,” says CSA Salerno Secretary General Angelo Rispoli, “reminded us that law enforcement plays a crucial role not only in ensuring the safety of our community, but also in demonstrating a deep sense of humanity.
The Municipal Police officers have shown that they understand the importance of extending care and attention to the most vulnerable beings, including animals. This gesture strengthens the bond between the municipal police and the city of Salerno, demonstrating that public service can be a beacon of hope and help for everyone”.
Rispoli also expressed appreciation for her colleague Stefania Greco, underlining her fundamental role in taking timely action and involving the community in the recovery of the kitten: “I would like to congratulate her for her extraordinary commitment.
Her compassionate spirit and dedication have inspired many and demonstrated that when you come together for a good cause, you can achieve extraordinary things.” The kitten was promptly handed over to the loving care of a volunteer, who has shown extraordinary dedication to ensuring her recovery and well-being.
Thanks to the commitment of the community and the generosity of those who actively participated, a solid network of solidarity was created that allowed to cover the veterinary expenses and guarantee the necessary treatment.
